Description: We work with six of the best Spanish language immersion schools in Costa Rica. We have campuses in the city, countryside, mountains and at the beach. Each school has a rigorous and intensive language program along with host family or school lodging. Many of our schools also have afternoon and weekend activities to help students integrate into the surrounding community and meet and understand local Costa Ricans and their culture. They are also adventure tours for those that want to experience the wonder and nature of Costa Rica. There is no additional fee for booking a language learning vacation through ISLS. No bogus late fees or registration charges above or beyond the price of the program. It cost a student no more to book a language program through ISLS than it does to sign up directly with the school.

Highlights: We have a student guesthouse and assistance center in San Jose the capital city. Here students have a safe and inexpensive place to stay and get advice and guidance from our experienced staff. We have a 24-hour emergency phone number so students are never alone on their language experience. We also have a Pre-Institute Orientation program, where student arrive four days early and are introduced into the culture of Costa Rica. The four days spent in this program, headquartered out of our student guesthouse in San Jose are spent with city tours, river rafting, meals at many local restaurants as well as tips and inside information about living and traveling in the country.
