The course at Instituto de Idiomas, UNINORTE combines multidisciplinary course offerings with a variety of social and cultural activities. Students interested in art, history, international relations, political science and literature will find this program a complete and enriching experience. This program enrolls people from many different countries; participants have opportunities to become involved in intercultural exchange and understanding. Our programs include an intensive Spanish Program for International Students developed for those who want to learn Spanish for academic, professional or social reasons. Important features of the program include: special language programs with custom-designed course work in general Spanish, specialized Spanish and teacher training. Each program contains an academic component as well as social and cultural ones.

All prices and fees reflect exchange rates current at time of publication and are subject to change based on any 2001-2002 tuition increases. Passports and Visas: Participants are responsible for obtaining their own visas. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your expected return to your country. Students should contact the Colombian Consulate in the nearest city regarding visa requirements. Cancellations: All cancellations must be made in writing to Instituto de Idiomas (Universidad del Norte) and are effective the date of the postmark.
