Study English in New York
United States
Dates: All year round start dates
Description:
They don't come any bigger than the Big Apple - king of the hill, top of the heap, New York, New York. No other city is arrogant enough to dub itself Capital of the World and no other city could carry it off. Our school is conveniently located in the center of Manhattan, near everything that makes New York a world-class city - the lights of Times Square, the art of Lincoln Center, the business of the United Nations, the theater of Broadway, the tranquility of Central Park, the popular subculture of Downtown and the quality of New York's stores and restaurants. Transportation in our city is fast, safe and convenient. Founded in 1973, our school is located a few blocks from the United Nations Building and only a five minute walk from Grand Central Station which is located at 42nd Street and Lexington and is the nearest subway station. The teachers are professional, university-trained, native speakers of English. They understand the importance of creating a student-centered environment in which students can learn and develop their English language skills through constant interaction with the teacher and other students. Our teacher help students bring grammar alive and lift it from their textbooks and place it into their hearts. We use many different educational media (textbooks, audio, video, computers, field trips and informal evenings.
