The Institute IC is located in downtown Vina del Mar next to the Quinta Vergara, an old residence that has been converted into a museum and garden and is now home to Vina's famous International Music Festival. Our teachers are qualified professionals who have been educated in the area of Spanish language teaching to foreign students. In addition, we have comfortable classrooms, one of which is complete with an audio-visual system. We also have a computer lab with free Internet access and email account. We offer the option to participate in Spanish programs of varying lengths. These programs are created for students with different language abilities and different interests. If you wish to spend a vacation in this beautiful city and at the same time develop your Spanish language skills, or if you wish to increase your academic aptitude of Spanish language, our institute has a program for you. You will also be able to enjoy Vina del Mar through social activities guided by our team. Our personnel will be available 24 hours a day to ensure that you enjoy your time in the most beautiful and friendly city of Chile: Vina del Mar, The Garden-City.

1.- Group Classes Important features: Placement test 20 academic hours of Spanish Classes per week 3 levels offered (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) Class size : Maximum of 6 students. Class material Activities guided by our team (1 free activity each 2 weeks) Private transportation to all our activities Free Internet access and e-mail account Starting days: Every Monday Fee: USD$200 per week (per person) 2.- Intensive Spanish Immersion Program (4 weeks) Students participate in 80 hours of Spanish classes (20 hours per week) as well as several cultural activities. Below is a chart of the daily schedule of activities: Dance Classes, Classes with Local Artists, Trecking, Hiking, Tours, Kayac, etc Objectives: Teach students to speak and understand Spanish within a social and cultural context. Who should attend: Any person. Become familiar with ways to overcome the cultural barriers sometimes encountered by U.S. and European business personnel doing business in Latin America. Benefit from an informal setting which provides many opportunities for interaction with your instructor, business colleagues, featured guest speakers and other participants. Who should attend: Business people who wish to expand their career opportunities by understanding and speaking Spanish. MBA students who are considering careers in international business. Others, including teachers, who wish to gain the practical skills and cultural awareness required in a variety of business-related situations. Important features of this program: 20 hours of Business Spanish Classes per week. Advanced level offered Class size : Maximum of 6 students.
