Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programmes are available all year and are suitable for students of any age (16 - 75 years) and language level (beginner to advanced). Ideal for personal interest, business, travel or examination revision purposes. All Eurolingua tutors are fully-qualified teachers and native speakers, experienced in teaching their mother tongue as a foreign language.

The unique Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programme will ensure that you make maximum progress in the shortest possible time, whatever your starting level, beginner to advanced. You live full-board in the home of your fully-qualified foreign language tutor, receiving 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) of individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests, whether for business or pleasure!! The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversational practice by participating in the usual everyday family activities of your personal tutor and family and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

Teaching Qualifications and Experience
We are an experienced one-to-one homestay teaching couple. Over the years, in between the formal English language students, we have hosted many other homestay guests from Japan where English conversation was an essentail part of the overall learning process.

Hobbies and Interests
John's main interest is breeding specialist birds in his aviary at home, TV and movies. He also works part time in a bird shop. Joy's interests are varied and include computer and internet, crafts, reading, music, theatre and family.

Excursions and Local Attractions
We take our students on a day trip to the picturesque Blue Mountains, Symbio Wild Life Park, where they can be photographed with koalas and feed kangaroos and other animals and birds, also sightseeing along our coastline and visits to Cronulla Beach, depending on the length of stay.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Our home is in a suburb of Sydney, 45 mins by train from the city centre. This area has lots to see and do. The Royal National Park is nearby, great for bushwalkers, and there are golf courses, many beaches, swimming and surfing. We are 30 mins by car to Cronulla Beach, close to historic Kurnell (birthplace of Australia) and Miranda Fair shopping centre, one of the largest in Australia. You will stay with us in our lovely spacious, brick home, with your own room and bathroom. You will have use of TV, radio and internet connection.

During your homestay with us we will take you on a day trip to the beautiful Blue Mountains, a visit to Symbio Wildlife Park nearby, where you can be photographed with the kangaroos and koalas, and sightseeing around our local area.

We are a happy couple and our home is a very happy environment. We enjoy working with our students and teaching them about our Australian way of life, as well as our English language. We find all our students have a great time with us. Our meal times, for example, are a time when we communicate with them, in an informal way. This time spent together is invaliable in their learning experience with us.
