Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programmes are available all year and are suitable for students of any age (16 - 75 years) and language level (beginner to advanced). Ideal for personal interest, business, travel or examination revision purposes. All Eurolingua tutors are fully-qualified teachers and native speakers, experienced in teaching their mother tongue as a foreign language.

The unique Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programme will ensure that you make maximum progress in the shortest possible time, whatever your starting level, beginner to advanced. You live full-board in the home of your fully-qualified foreign language tutor, receiving 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) of individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests, whether for business or pleasure!! The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversational practice by participating in the usual everyday family activities of your personal tutor and family and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

1989-1994 BA Honours Degree in English and Spanish Language and Literature. University of Valladolid (Spain). Subjects included: Translation, Literature, Linguistics, History, etc. 1985-1989 Instituto Bachillerato Jorge Guillen. Valladolid. (Spain).

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy reading, listening to music, going to the local beaches, walking around in the city centre, cooking, swimming, family life and meeting new people.

Excursions and Local Attractions
Costa de la Luz, Seville, Jerez de la Frontera and historic city centre, Puerto de Santa María, local beaches. Can facilitate bookings to visit the Royal School of Equestrian Art, typical bodegas in Jerez and travel to Seville (1 hour from Jerez by train or bus).

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
A beautiful 4 bedroom house located in a small barrio South East of Jerez Centre, just about 5 minutes car journey or 25 minutes walk to the city centre. It is a large house divided in two floors, which includes 2 roof terraces. We have a large tiled 'typical Spanish' patio where the children love to play. The ground floor has a kitchen, dining room, laundry room, living room, spare room (for the student) and a toilet/shower room. There are 3 more bedrooms and a big family bathroom on the first floor. The student's room is light and airy looking onto a second patio.

Jerez is a beautiful typical Andalucian city in a privileged location: South East of Western Andalucia and Northwest of the province of Cadiz. It is situated between the mountains of Cadiz and the Atlantic Ocean, at only 15 kms from the nearest beach and within easy reach of a variety of Andalucian villages. Jerez enjoys an average of 295 sunny days a year (an amazing 3200 hours of sun !!). It boasts an international airport allowing economic travel to European countries (e.g. return to London as little as 50 Euro). It takes only 3 hours to Madrid on the AVE (high speed train, 1 hour to Seville and 40 minutes to Cadiz. Jerez is celebrated worldwide for: Flamenco, Horses and Wine. 'Musts' for visitors are the Royal School of Equestrian Art which offers a unique show of horse dancing; a visit to the Flamenco School and a guided tour of one of the many bodegas (wine cellars) which offer wine tasting.
