Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programmes are available all year and are suitable for students of any age (16 - 75 years) and language level (beginner to advanced). Ideal for personal interest, business, travel or examination revision purposes. All Eurolingua tutors are fully-qualified teachers and native speakers, experienced in teaching their mother tongue as a foreign language.

The unique Eurolingua One-to-One Homestay Programme will ensure that you make maximum progress in the shortest possible time, whatever your starting level, beginner to advance. You live full-board in the home of your fully-qualified foreign language tutor, receiving 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) of individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests, whether for business or pleasure!! The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversational practice by participating in the usual everyday family activities of your personal tutor and family and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
I have been teaching languages for the last 6 years, and teaching ESL for the last 4 years. I had a 10 year career in museums and 5 year career in libraries a I bring a wealth of knowledge to my classroom and teaching. I have taught Chinese, Japanese, and currently Latino/latina students, predominately Mexican students in a middle school setting. I am from New Zealand and have lived here in the USA for the last 2 years. My intention is to work here another 5 years. I have also lived and worked in London and New York City.

The apartment has double bedrooms with separate unsuited bathrooms. There is a patio/deck, laundry room, storage, kitchen, lounge area, and ample room. The apartment complex is modern (5years old), clean, safe, spaces surrounded by forest/woods. The city of Statesville, is 30 minutes from the cities of Winston Salem, Hickory and Charlotte, the largest city in NC. Statesville has all modern amenities a city can offer. It is close to the mountains and piedmont/foothills of North Carolina, famous for its forests, waterways, and ever-changing seasons with ample bird/animal wildlife. Clean and green state, it has a rich and diverse history.
