Academic English Programs

Academic programs at International House Vancouver include: Intensive General English, Business English (BEC Preparation)Home Study & the University Foundation Program.
All academic English programs utilize an integrated, student-centered approach allowing you to maximize your experienceof studying in Vancouver.

Young Learner Programs

IH Vancouver & IH Whistler offer a variety of young learner options to suit every need, budget and language ability. In Vancouver, we offer the Children's Adventure Program for children aged 5 - 12 and the Junior Program for 13-17 year olds. Both options are suitable for mother & child or family study.

2006 will mark the beginning of the IH Whistler Junior Adventure Camp. An all-inclusive camp featuring a real Canadian experience in Canada's recreation capital. Participants are guaranteed to receive the best possible service and attention in what will most likely be the time of their lives.

Test Preparation

Since 1990, International House Vancouver (formerly ILLC) has helped thousands of students achieve their goals through our highly effective test preparation programs. Test preparation classes at IH Vancouver are taught by highly qualified and experienced professionals.
Our programs are truly unique in the flexibility that we offer to our students. Students wishing to take official examinations while they are in Vancouver may take Cambridge ESOL, TOEFL or TOEIC exams in-house while or IELTS tests can be arranged at the official testing sites.
