Description: Madrid is the monumental, vibrant capital of Spain. It enjoys a dry, predominantly sunny climate at 600 metres above sea level. It is packed with history and culture, but also a very modern city. The city is full of museums, art galleries, magnificent historical buildings and beautiful parks. Madrid is also famous for the 'La Marcha', the nightlife that goes on to the break of dawn - not surprising when you see the number of bars, restaurants, cinemas, theatres and night clubs which fill the centre of Madrid. This is a city with something for everyone that truly never sleeps. Being situated in the centre of Spain, Madrid is also an ideal base to explore the rest of the country.

Our school is located in the heart of Madrid, right next to the Retiro Park, within walking distance of the Prado Museum, the 'Cortes' (Spanish Parliament building) and other monuments, galleries and museums. There are over 20 well-equipped, air conditioned classrooms, an Internet room, student room and library.

Cultural lesson are arranged each week and are free-of-charge. There are regular guided walks to places of interest throughout Madrid and also many opportunities to go on excursions to nearby places of interest and cities. Our school also has a nightlife event each week which is thoroughly enjoyed by our students. 'Intercambios' (conversation exchanges) can be arranged with Spanish students to practise the language that they learn in class.

Accommodation in host family, shared apartment or private studios located just a short walk from the school can be arranged.
