Study Italian in Pisa, Italy
Italy
- All Other Areas in Italy:
Pisa
Term: Throughout the year
Dates: Weekly/Monthly
Description:
About the NRCSA Center The NRCSA Center in Pisa is dedicated to educating foreigners in both the Italian language and culture. Students often in study Pisa to get away from the mass tourism that sometimes encircles other cities in Italy. This allows students to become fully immersed in the local culture while they learn the language. All members of the teaching staff have been qualified to teach Italian to foreigners. The small class size allows for a personal relationship between teacher and student. During classes students will not only learn the language, but will also be taught the cultural and social practices of Italian life. This helps the student to acquire not only the language, but the full ability to communicate by being able to understand non-verbal communications and the behaviors. About Pisa Pisa a city of great historical and cultural interest in the heart of Tuscany, is considered the ideal place for studying Italian. Besides the Leaning Tower and the Piazza del Duomo, Pisa is famous for many masterpieces of art. It's university, founded in the 13th century, is one of the oldest in Europe and the "Scuola Normale Superiore" is frequented by students from all over the world. All this testifies that Pisa is a center for study. Pisa also has a convenient geographical situation, as it is only a few miles away from Florence, Lucca, Volterra, Siena; the sea is only a four mile distance and can easily be reached by public transportation.
