Study Japanese in Tokyo
Japan
Term: Throughout the year
Dates: Weekly/Monthly
Description:
About The NRCSA Center The NRCSA Center in Tokyo was established in 1970, and is dedicated to providing students from around the world quality language instruction. Since its establishment, the school has expanded steadily due to its effective teaching methods and highly qualified staff. Most students at the NRCSA Center in Tokyo are their primarily to study Japanese; however others are spouses, or those wishing to enter Japanese universities or professional schools. Still others are language instructors, diplomats and businessmen. Students of all ages from 42 countries have studied at the school. Students can expect a friendly atmosphere, high-quality teaching and serious pedagogical supervision. About Tokyo Tokyo is one of the world's most contradictory cities. On the one hand, blinding neon signs, incessant noise and bumper-to-bumper traffic can make this city of 12 million seem completely overwhelming. Yet behind the barely ordered chaos lie remnants of a very different past. Tranquil back streets, bonsai trees, ancient temples and shrines convey their quiet power to the traveler who is willing to look and listen. And, at the centre of it all, is the Imperial Palace - home to the emperor and a tangible link to the past. Many of the city's highlights are free: stroll through the evocative Shitamachi (low city) area around Asakusa and the major Buddhist temple Senso-ji; visit the tranquil wooded grounds of Meiji-jingu, the city's most venerable Shinto shrine; experience the frenetic fish market at Tsukiji. Though Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world, it also offers free and surprising delights.
