Description: Centro Internacional de Idiomas offers several Spanish and volunteer programs. We teach Spanish on a one on one basis, focusing in conversation practice, grammar, readings and the vocabulary of the students's interests and fields. We provide students to live with upper middle class families in a confortable private room, private bathroom, 3 nutritional meals per day are provided 7 days a weeek.

Students can apply for US college credits through their universities. Once a week students take classes at our jungle river lodge on the Pico Bonito national park and one day at our beach resort. That make the class more flexible and students don't have the pressure of staying in a classroom the 20 hours per week. Our teachers are all university graduates with lot of experience in teaching the spanish as a second language. Daily homework is assigned and in the afternoons students are welcome to visit our library at school for studying and clear questions with the teacher at no extra cost.

We also offer our new EcoVenture Spanish program which includes 20 hours of Spanish lessons on a one on one basis, 5 tours per week (one a day) white water rafting, canopy, mountain bike, hiking to Rio Maria, and Hiking to the Pico Bonito National park. Students can live at our Jungle River Lodge up the river.

We also offer our Volunteer and Cultural immersion spanish program which consists in 20 hours of spanish lesssons and 20 hours of volunteering, homestay is offered with 3 meals per day included.

Our school has a large yard, cafeteria, free internet access, library and confortable airconditioning classrooms.

Highlights: Centro Internacional de Idiomas was founded in 1994 and we have been in operation since then. Our school is located in the port city of La Ceiba on the north coast of Honduras, just an hour away from the beautiful Bay islands great for scuba diving and snorkeling. La Ceiba offers an outstanding night life 7 days a week. You have the mountain range on one side and the ocean on the other.

Centro Internacional de Idiomas y Cultura's Mission Statement: Our Spanish Language Immersion program is designed for all kind of students, especially for those interested in medical terms, college subjects, Spanish for travellers, entire families courses, educational Spanish teachers, spanish for missionaries, culture interested, teenagers courses. We teach Spanish on a one on one basis. Host families with 3 meals per day included or hotel stay. Daily extracurricular activities after classes, outgoings with the teachers, scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, back horse rides, visits to nearby beaches, rivers and mountains, night life and lot of fun. Volunteering opportunities and US college credits available.
