Description: If you are looking for quality Spanish language schools, IMAC is recognized as one of the finest Spanish Language schools. Note: All of the following information regarding course descriptions is the same for all four locations: Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Patagonia (Bariloche and Ushuaia). Our partner school offers you the possibility to continue your program in any of the four locations offering the same high quality methods, materials and teachers.

Method of the program:
Direct, active learning using language structures, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions in the context of areas most useful for attaining fluency as quickly as possible.

Spanish programs:

* Program A: Group classes (55 minutes per class, 6 students x class max.) 20 hours per week.

* Program B: Private classes (45 minutes per class.) 10 to 40 classes per week. You choose class frequency.

* Program C: Intensive - 20 group classes, plus 10 private classes per week. All intermediate and advanced classes include workshops on Argentinean history, culture and politics.

* Program Tango: Five Tango classes per week at the best Tango academy in town. This option can be added to any program

Note 1: At the Cordoba and Patagonia (Bariloche and Ushuaia) locations, classes are 60 minutes long.
Note 2: At the Patagonia (Bariloche and Ushuaia) locations the minimum stay for Programs A and C is two weeks.

Highlights: Buenos Aires, Argentina:

Things to do:
- Tango restaurant and live tango show: Experience Buenos Aires' most famous music, accompanied by an exquisite international dish.
- Milongas: Visit different "milongas" in the city of Buenos Aires. These are not tourist shows but traditional places where "portenos" dance the true local tango.
- Shopping tour: Once a week a "leather only" shopping tour is organized. It consists of visits to non-touristy shops, giving students the chance to find very good products at excellent prices.
- Argentinean wines: This outing, organized once a week, gives students a chance to taste Argentinean wines from 36 different wine cellars. A lecture about this subject is optional during the visit.
- Buenos Aires and Soccer: On Boca Juniors or River Plate home game days, students can choose this outing which includes:
*Round trip transfer
*Visit to the sport museum
*Visit to the stadium's facilities
*The best seats in the stadium
*A guide from "Museos Deportivos S.A"
- "Estancia" in Buenos Aires: Outings to different "estancias" in the province of Buenos Aires. Located near small towns, visitors can enjoy a weekend or a day of "gaucho" activities. This allows students to get to know the culture of local towns in the province.

Cordoba, Argentina:

Things to do:
- Tango and Argentine Folk dance.
- Argentine cooking classes.
- Guided Tour around the Historical Center: Visit colonial estates, religious and local architecture.
- History Way: Royal Way to Alto Peru ("estancias", villages, gaucho posts, churches).
- Trekking: Hike the path of the High Peaks of the Volcanoes and the Tunnels.
- Quebrada de los Condoritos National Park: See the Condor, the biggest bird on earth!
- Climbing Cerro Champaqui, 2800 metres high.
- Horseback riding, mountain biking and fishing in the wilderness.
- Argentinean "asados" (barbeques).
- Parachuting.
- Photographic safaris.
- 4x4 vehicle excursions.

Bariloche, Argentina (Region of Patagonia):

All the courses are complemented with the Plan "Spanish out of the classroom" where the students, accompanied by the teacher, can check their language progress by involving themselves in different communicative situations. This plan immerses students in Argentina's culture by getting them in touch with the local people. This experience is taught according to the different levels of the course in order to increase oral comprehension and to help students develop conversation fluency.

Things to do:
- Visit the breathtaking Nahual Huapi Lake and National Park.
- Skiing in Argentina's most well known ski resort.
- Centro Cívico: Discover the interesting architecture of Bariloche´s downtown district.
- Aerosillas: Take a cable chair or cable car to the top of Cerro Catedral and enjoy the panoramic view.
- Seven Lakes Road: Take a trip along this wonderful road between San Carlos de Bariloche and San Martín de los Andes; you will find beautiful lakes, high trees and hidden log cabins.

Ushuaia, Argentina (Region of Patagonia):

Things to do:
- City Tour: Visit downtown Ushuaia in a Double Decker coach. You will learn about aboriginals, the first European men to arrive, colonization, missionaries, convicts, the famous Southernmost Jail on Earth, and the immigrant's influence on today's daily life.
- Valle Hermoso: Tour the "Beautiful Valley", where you will be able to do some bird watching and see the incredible works of beavers. Winter sports and activities such as cross-country skiing or walking with snow rackets are available in this area.
- Horseback riding: Ancient forests, unexplored paths, and the ever present mountains. Experience the history and legend of this land displayed before your eyes.
- Maritime Museum of Ushuaia: This museum features collections ranging from naval models, the history of Antarctic exploration, gold prospecting and primitive inhabitants.
- Tierra del Fuego National Park.
- The End of the World Museum

Cost Include Description:
Fees are the same in all four locations. Course fees for programs A and C at the Bariloche and Ushuaia locations include books and a CD containing pictures for you to remember this experience for a lifetime.

Program A: Group classes $210.00 US a week.
Program B: Private classes $20.00 US per class. $18.00 US per class if you pay for more than 20 classes.
Program C: Intensive $380.00 US per week.
Program Tango: $70.00 US per week for five classes. Add this feature to any of the selected language programs.

Registration fee: $60.00 US. Includes the following:
- Airport pick up (optional $28.00 US value).
- Welcome city tour.
- Books and material for all the program.
- Placement test.
- Orientation package.
- Certificate.
- No-limit free cafeteria during classes (only beverages - coffee, tea and water).
- Weekly private meeting with our Pedagogical Advisor.
- One hour per week of salsa/tango lessons.
