Eurolingua - Spanish in Malaga, Costa del Sol
Spain
Dates: All Year
Description:
The Costa del Sol is a 150 km long with calm waters, permanently blue skies, beautiful beaches, hills, mountains, lakes, forests, traditional villages, towns and historic cities. Malaga, named "the city of paradise" by Nobel Prize winner Vicente Aleixandre, is the capital of this lovely region. It enjoys an extraordinarily mild climate with an average temperature of 22°c and 330 sunny days!! It was founded by the Phoenicians and has been a Roman colony and a Moorish city, reflected in its many monuments such as the Roman Theatre and the Arab Alcazaba. The school is located in the historic centre of Malaga in a completely restored modern art building, surrounded by the city's historical monuments and parks. This is an ideal environment for combining a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with high quality Spanish tuition and academic success. The school has the additional advantage of being close to all amenities. Within a few blocks you can find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, banks, cinemas and theatres. The beach is only 10 minutes away. The school is, of course, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, the official institution for the promotion of the Spanish language.
Highlights:
The school offers a wide range of courses for students wishing to learn or to improve their Spanish. Students always learn the language with a background of information about life and attitudes in Spain. Courses are designed to help students feel confident in using the language on a daily basis and in all kinds of social situations. From the first day, only Spanish is spoken in class. Group classes (1 lesson = 45 min.) are usually held in the mornings, from Monday to Friday, and are kept very small (max. 8 students) in order to ensure the highest teacher contact and efficiency. Students with previous knowledge take a Level Test in order to determine the most appropriate class for their level. Eurolingua study abroad language programmes are available all year round in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish and in 35 different countries where these languages are spoken. Every year, students of all ages (16-75 years), and from many countries and professions, attend Eurolingua's numerous language, cultural, special interest and summer programmes worldwide. Students include private individuals, mature teenagers, university and MBA students, teachers, doctors, professional and business people, corporate executives, diplomats and embassy staff, government employees, military personnel and retired people.
