Highlights:
IBERO Spanish School, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Start Dates and Course Schedules Ibero Spanish courses begin every Monday and run in three-week cycles (60 hours for group classes); however, students can leave early or join late if they can make up the course material. Absolute beginners who cannot start on a Monday should take private classes until they feel ready to join an existing group. Students take a placement exam to begin their studies at Íbero and a final exam upon the completion of each 3-week course segment. Upon completing the exam, they progress to the next of Íbero´s eight levels. Diplomas from Íbero indicate the level in which students are studying when they leave the school -- not the level of their final test if it is in a lower level. Daily Schedule Ibero Spanish School is open from Monday through Friday from 9.00am to 6.00pm. Most group classes take place in the morning, from 9.00am until 1.00pm, and most private lessons are in the afternoon from 2.00pm until 6.00pm though other options are sometimes available. Four-hour classes have a half-hour break in the middle and shorter classes run in 50-minute segments. See "courses" for more information on class options. Yearly Schedule Ibero does not make up classes missed due to a holiday. Instead, students may take part in free workshops and classes such as the free Argentinean cinema, free conversation and accent reduction classes, and other educational, social cultural activities that the school organizes. List of Levels - Beginner (Principiante I) - Beginner (Principiante II) - Intermediate I (Intermedio I) - Intermediate II (Intermedio II) - Intermediate III (Intermedio III) - Pre-advanced (Pre-avanzado) - Advanced (Avanzado) - Superior (Superior) An initial placement exam helps students determine the level at which they should start and then each course ends with a Thursday review and a Friday exam before students progress to the next level. Upon leaving the school, each student receives a diploma indicating his or her final level of study. This diploma is recognized by national and international authorities. At Ibero, students learn to use Spanish in everyday life -- not just in the classroom. Courses focus on giving students the confidence to deal with Spanish speakers in any situation. NOTE: Ibero customizes private lessons to meet the needs of each individual student regardless of level.
