Description:
Colchester English Study Centre, or CESC, (est 1969) is a year-round English language school in the ancient town of Colchester - the oldest town in Britain, located only 45 minutes east of London. In addition to its core General English programme, CESC offers a range of tailor-made courses for professionals - such as Business English, English for Medicine, Legal English, and Teacher Training. CESC is an IELTS and University of Cambridge ESOL examinations authorised centre. It also runs preparation courses for these exams. There is an English for Academic Studies programme, also, and a free academic counselling service, for students who wish to study at university level in the UK. The Centre has a maximum capacity of 280 students, and is well equipped with computers and other learning facilities, including a well-stocked library and a listening centre for private study. There is free internet access and a wireless network for all students in the school. The Centre runs home-stay junior summer schools in Clacton and Ipswich, and one residential summer school in Framlingham College for juniors aged 12-18, in July and August.
