Description: The Arabic Language Institute at The American University in Cairo offers full-time, intensive Arabic language study in spoken (Egyptian colloquial) and literary Arabic to university students, business persons and foreign service personnel. Elementary, intermediate and advanced levels are available for a year, semester or summer.The full year program leads to a certificate in language proficiency. AUC's Institute is world renown and is the site for the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA). Language instruction is complemented by course-related travel in the region.
